Joining our teams as an Automation Engineer, you will undertake your first mission with one of our clients among the following industries: pharma, oil and gas, food and beverages, chemicals,...
Attached to a team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced automation systems to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless integration across various industrial processes.

In this position, you will be involved in the following tasks:

- System design and development: Design, develop, and implement automation systems and control solutions, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMIs.
- Programming and configuration: Write and debug control software and scripts, define and configure automation hardware, and integrate systems to ensure seamless operation and functionality.
- Troubleshooting and support: Diagnose and resolve issues with automated systems, providing technical support and implementing solutions to maintain system performance and minimize downtime.
- System optimization: Analyze system performance data, identify areas for improvement, and optimize automation processes to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Documentation and compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes, configurations, and updates, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Profil

- You have experience with designing and implementing automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and HMI.
- You demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining complex automation systems, with the ability to analyze performance data and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
- You possess a strong understanding of industry standards and norms, as well as relevant safety and regulatory requirements for automation systems.
- You are proficient in programming languages and software used for automation, including ladder logic, structured text, and functional block diagrams, as well as configuration tools for PLCs and DCS, particularly Siemens, Rockwell and Emerson systems.
- You have hands-on experience with system integration and optimization, including working with process control systems, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols like OPC and Modbus.
- You speak English and French or Dutch.
- You have a consulting mindset.
